Brooke's Sketchbook

Howdy there!

This is my formatted sketchbook that I completed between June 2023 and April 2024.

I've gone through a lot of difficult, yet positive and necessary changes within this past year, and I feel that the illustrations in my sketchbook are evident of those changes.

I graduated college and moved into an apartment in Brooklyn, unsure of where I'd be going next in terms of vocation/career. I ended a long-term relationship and spent more time connecting with friends and family. I started going to church again- something I found that I'd been deeply missing when I stopped attending in my college years. I took time to heal, and taught myself to prioritize rest above work- and find comfort in not needing to know what comes next.

Big thank you to everyone who has been with me and supported me throughout this crazy year. I'm so blessed to have such wonderfully kind and caring people in my life!

I wanted to make the sketchbook free and accessible to everyone, but if you have any spare change you'd like to throw my way, any amount is greatly appreciated- I just moved to a new apartment, so donations would go directly to supporting my living expenses and additional moving costs.
